Dynam BEC s provide an exceptional value and reliability with features normally found only on more expensive brands. Use the Dynam BEC to provide power to your airborne receiver and servos at a selectable 5 or 6 volts and 3 amps from your power system 3 or 4 cell lipo. This device effectively eliminates the need to carry an additional onboard battery pack dedicated to your receiver.
What is a BEC and why do I need one? BEC stands for "Battery Elimination Circuit" and regulates power to your receiver, servos and other onboard electronics during flight. Most of the smaller ESCs have a built-in BEC. However, the higher voltage ECSs typically do not offer this feature for various technical reasons.
By installing the Dynam U-BEC in parallel with your ESC, the U-BEC is able to draw power from your lithium battery and reduce the higher battery voltage to a level your receiver and servos can use. The Universal BEC 5.0 volt output level is the industry standard for receivers and servos. A much higher level of performance can be achieved by running qualified servos at the selectable 6.0 volt output level.
The Dynam U-BEC is ideal for use in helicopters, sailplane, hotliner, scale, 3D, electric, glow-nitro and gas powered aircraft or anywhere weight or endurance is a key factor.

We use a lot of these with our larger electric and glow to electric conversion models. The U-BEC provides sufficient power to drive the servos and receiver without having to carry around the extra weight of an additional battery pack.
